First car: A 1986 Chevy Sprint, red, with a manual, but, shortly after that I got myself a 1987 Dodge Daytona with a turbo! Loved that car, and now I would love to get a 1987 Shelby Charger.
First concert you attended: Sean Paul
Name a pet peeve: Being late
Most thrilling/adventurous thing you’ve done: I scuba dive to 100 feet, rock climb and autocross fairly regularly, so being adventurous is normal for me. After I understand an activity and how to be safe, I have the ability to change the little voice in my head from this is scary to this is exciting and fun.
your personal heroes: I don’t put anyone on a pedestal.
First job: Attendant at a floating gas station for boats and marine vehicles called Hyak Marine.
Something on your bucket list: To scuba dive in Iceland between the two tectonic plates.
First website you go to in the morning: LinkedIn, Facebook or Amazon to check book sales.
What did you want to be when you were a kid? I never had a specific career in mind, but I had other things that I wanted to create, have and experience in my adult life.
Do you collect anything? Only expensive gear for all my hobbies.
What’s a show you’re currently binge watching? “Below Decks”
First album/CD you bought: Not my first but memorable. When I was a teen and CDs were popular, I had at least three that had “In the Mood” by Glenn Miller and versions by other musicians. If I found a new copy, I just had to buy it. Years later I found out my great-grandma used to play it for me on her piano.
The most important rooms in your house: I would have to say my bedroom. My bed has the perfect mattress, I have a good combination of pillows and it’s the perfect place to recharge.
Favorite line from a movie: “Could I get a real bottle, please? I’m an alcoholic not a Barbie Doll.” Amy Poehler as Maggie in Mr. Woodcock.
Who’s on your Spotify playlist? I have a polka/German playlist that is super fun and upbeat.
